Who are we ?

We are a couple, from French's origin, who have been living in Quebec for several years. Eager to break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a simpler, local life close to nature, we embarked on this camping project in 2024.

We chose St Elie in Mauricie because it is a beautiful region that we appreciate. During our life as city people, we often came to recharge our batteries, camp and canoe in the region.

A little more about us, Nico, a rather manual guy with a green thumb, takes care of the construction and maintenance of our beautiful location. He likes to take the time for a friendly conversation around a good fire, but he risks not understanding everything, english still has a few secrets for him.

Mélanie, I am more cerebral than manual but I learn a little more every day. I take care of the administrative and reception more specifically. A bit talkative and hyperactive, I like meeting new people and chatting over tea and good little sweet treats.

In our family, there is also Kira, a "little" dog of 70 lbs, still a little crazy because she is young, she is a St Bernard, Husky cross and she loves, a little too much perhaps, meeting new people.
